️☀️ As a tropical plant, they prefer bright indirect light to thrive. Place it near a bright window for plenty of indirect light. While they can tolerate low light, they may become leggy and have less dense foliage. Plant lights are good too if lacking natural light.

🌡️ Grows well in average room temperatures between 60-75°F, but no lower than 55°F.  Avoid sudden temperature drops and cold drafts. False Aralias prefer higher humidity. About 60% is ideal. Since most homes site around 30-50%, you can provide additional humidity from a humidifier, daily misting, or place the plant on a pebble tray filled with water.

💧 Water regularly about once a week when the top inch of soil is dry, allowing it to dry out slightly between waterings. Avoid overwater, this s the most common problem with False Aralia, leading to root rot. Discard any excess water left in the tray.

🪴Do not repot right away. Let the plant stay in its nursery pot for at least a few months to get used to its new home. Most plants go dormant in the winter so do not repot them then because they could go Into shock. It's best to repot every 1-2 years during the growing months of spring and summer. This plant grows best in a well draining potting mix so add some sand and perlite to improve drainage. They can become slightly root-bound before repotting.

💊Fertilize every two weeks during the growing season. Feed during the spring and summer months with a fertilizer that has an NPK (nitrogen-phosphorous-potassium) ratio of approximately 10-10-10. For the amount to use, follow product label instructions. No fertilizer is needed during the winter months when growth naturally slows.

🐜 All of plants are treated monthly with a natural spray consisting of hydrogen peroxide, blue Dawn dish soap and neem oil diluted with water but that doesn't mean once they go to a new home it can't catch a critter Infestation from surrounding plants, soil.(Even cut flowers can be a carrier of pests!) Preventative maintenance Is key! Check your plants often, clean leaves by giving it the occasional shower or wiping with a clean damp cloth. Use clean pots and fresh quality soil when transplanting.
