Grown in the Guji Zone of Ethiopia, farmer members contributing to Ela Farda are quintessentially remote Ethiopian family farms. Most are small by global standards, but large for Ethiopia: the coop has 350 member families farming a collective 732 hectrares, more than 2 hectares apiece. Coffee is Fair Trade Certified and organic.
This coffee is crafted from Ethiopian heirloom varieties, a diverse collection of indigenous coffee plants that have thrived in Ethiopia’s rich landscapes for centuries. These heirloom beans contribute to the coffee’s distinctive floral and fruit-forward character, making each cup a truly unique experience.
Bursting with tasting notes of strawberry, magnolia, and cocoa powder this coffee delivers a cup that is both sweet and lively, with a silky body and a lingering finish.

Fika is a local micro roastery, based out of Homer, Alaska. Dedicated to bringing artisanal quality coffee to Alaska, they regard each coffee bean as a gem, encouraging all who drink our coffee to follow their motto, "slow down, drink coffee." Fika is a traditional Swedish custom that celebrates an intentional break where people gather to drink coffee, savour cakes or other light snacks, and be human with one another.
